The two tumbles I've had on the GSXR were from hard front wheel braking, when the rear of the bike goes past the front of the bike. I believe steering dampers would fix this. Has anyone out there had experience with this? I have changed my braking practice to using much more downshifting, allowing the bike to rev moderately high. I haven't yet had a panic situation to test my downshifting reflex, but just as happens with all experiences, I've learned to stay away from anything that could become a panic situation. Practically that means no more running yellow lights and no more splitting lanes.

Should take a on-track riding course. Dampeners won't help.
Only way a rear passes the front is from rear over braking, from engine
or brake, unless rear is flipping over front.

I had the same problem and find the same solution; i.e. using your head. I used to roadrace; I don't think taking track school is a viable solution. perhaps a different, more progressive, master cylinder, or using one finger on the lever
